Vimto Gardens is part of the Salford Central regeneration scheme, which is being delivered by ECf – a joint venture between Muse Developments, Legal & General and the Homes & Communities Agency.
The £13.5m residential led mixed-use scheme in the heart of Salford is just the first phase of the 2010 Salford Central outline masterplan (also by GHA) and creates new family housing alongside small-scale commercial and retail uses.
The development includes 83 apartments and 14 terraced townhouses, alongside shops, offices and restaurants. The aspiration was always to create the first building in a growing neighbourhood for Salford, where work, leisure and home life all combine to become a future part of the city’s built heritage.
The Brick Awards will announce the winning projects in November 2015.
