Plots 01, 03 and 09 were granted planning permission in a unanimous decision this week representing another stepping stone in the Royal Wharf masterplan development in the London Borough of Newham.
Plots 01 and 03 and 09 will provide 490 new homes and complete the new Sovereign Place town square and first Phase of the Royal Wharf high street.
Royal Wharf will be a spectacular residential, business and leisure destination situated on a stretch of south-facing waterfront to the west of Barrier Park.
The consented masterplan, covering 15 hectares, is of a scale rarely seen in an urban location. It will provide a vibrant mixed use development with up to 3,385 homes, a new school, shops, offices and riverside restaurants to a population that is estimated to reach 10,000 residents upon completion.
The project commenced on site in March 2014.
