GHA are pleased to be once again taking part in the London Festival of Architecture Fitzrovia Studio Lates event. The annual festival sees over 400 events taking place across the capital from the 1st to the 30th June, including open studios, exhibitions and installations, talks, debates, tours and family events.
Director Will Poole said “We are looking forward once again to taking part in the London Festival of Architecture. Reflecting this year’s theme, we will be exploring how architecture and urban design can transcend physical boundaries and deliver highly successful places and buildings; bringing forgotten pockets of the city to life. Last year over 200 guests attended our event to see our projects and meet our team, as well as touring our design studio with a drink in hand. As before, we are delighted to be taking part along with our Middlesex House neighbours Make and Fletcher Priest, giving visitors plenty to see in just one building.”
The Fitzrovia Studio Lates event takes place on Friday 14th June from 6pm. Visitors will be able to explore some of GHA’s most exciting projects and meet the teams behind them in our studio which is located on the third floor of Middlesex House (click here for map), a former 1930s garment factory that is home to a number of creative practices including Make Architects and Fletcher Priest Architects, both of whom will also be taking part in the event. As well as the display there will be a dedicated area hosted by our junior team where students and Part I / Part II Architectural Assistants can informally chat to recent graduates about how they are finding being in practice and their tips for students.
The event is open to all and booking is not required. Middlesex House’s address is 34-42 Cleveland Street, W1T 4JE and GHA’s third-floor offices are accessible via a lift / stairs.
More information about the festival can be found on their website.
