Glenn Howells Architects, in association with Barratt London, has successfully won planning permission for two residential buildings that are part of a wider Catford Green masterplan in London.
Catford Green complies with the latest GLA space standards and will provide high quality public realm and landscaping that is accessible, inclusive and inviting. Acting as the gateway from Ladywell Fields into Catford Green, the new residential buildings will provide a better connection with the park and surrounding community.
Once completed the scheme will provide 179 units, including affordable and wheelchair accessible housing. The units consist of duplexes providing frontage to the park with up to four bedrooms.
Director Reinhold Schmaderer said “we are delighted to have won planning permission for these gateway buildings. It concludes the Catford Green master plan, a much needed development in Catford.”
