Glenn Howells Architects is currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity as Finance Manager supporting both offices and based in Birmingham.

Working closely with the Finance Director this is an exciting and highly rewarding role for an exceptional calibre candidate who is looking for responsibility, autonomy and significant business partnering experience.

Glenn Howells Architects is passionate about delivering a robust, reliable and insightful finance function and the Finance Manager role has specific responsibility for the management accounts and underlying accounting entries, whilst also acting as line manager for the Finance Assistant who is in turn responsible for receivables, payables, credit control and banking. As a project based professional services business, a key part of the Finance Manager role is also considerable business partnering with Architectural staff on often subjective project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, ongoing cost analysis and revenue recognition.  This is a highly influential area of the business and requires an individual who has gravitas, strong decision-making skills and exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships, educate staff and influence change.
