A new Birmingham city gateway

October 25, 2016

New Garden Square is a £300 million regeneration proposal to create a new mixed-use destination set around a landscaped public garden square in Birmingham. The proposals are being led by Calthorpe Estates and U+I Group Plc.

The project aims to regenerate this prominent Birmingham site with a mixed-use development comprising new apartments, commercial space, leisure space and a high quality landscaped garden square. The Grade II listed buildings will be retained and restored following advice from Historic England.

The project is currently undergoing public consultation and a planning application is anticipated to be submitted in December 2016 following feedback from the consultation sessions.
