Progress at 125 Deansgate in Manchester has hit its latest milestones, with the core being topped out, the marketing suite being opened and completion of both the groundworks and basement structure. The ground floor slab will be poured shortly in early May.
This landmark office scheme is strategically positioned on Manchester’s Deansgate, located between the gateway to Spinningfields and the civic heart at St Peter’s Square.
The BREEAM ‘Excellent’ building will rise 12 storeys above the Manchester skyline, the full height glazing and roof terrace will provide unrivalled panoramic views across the city centre.
Developed by Worthington Properties, 125 Deansgate will offer 116,000 sq ft Grade A office and retail space. The scheme marks a significant opportunity on Deansgate and will be a catalyst for the transformation of the surrounding area.
The building creates generous, flexible floor plates with a finely articulated facade of bespoke terracotta. The new office building, designed with a contemporary yet strikingly calm approach, echoes the industrial character of Deansgate and the centrepiece Grade I listed John Rylands Library that sits opposite the site.
Worthington Construction expect the project to be complete by Q2 2019.
